Terms of Service

These are the rules for using BidNinja Shield. We tried to keep them short and human-readable.

What BidNinja Shield Is

BidNinja Shield is a Chrome extension plus backend service that helps freelancers on Freelancer.com filter scam jobs, score opportunities with AI, generate bid proposals, and track wins. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Freelancer.com or Freelancer International Limited.

Your Account

• You must be 13 or older.
• You must provide accurate sign-in info via Google.
• You are responsible for your own Freelancer.com account, your own bids, and your own compliance with Freelancer.com's terms.
• One account per person on Starter and Pro. Agency tier supports up to 5 Freelancer.com accounts under one BidNinja account.

Plans, Billing, Refunds

• Free tier is free, no card required, limited features.
• Paid tiers (Starter, Pro, Agency) are billed monthly via Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime via the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• 7-day refund: if you subscribe and the product doesn't save you bids within 7 days, email hello@bidninja.bid and we refund instantly, no questions.
• After 7 days, refunds are case-by-case and at our discretion.
• Proposal generation has a monthly cap (Starter 100, Pro 500, Agency 2000). Caps reset on the 1st of each month.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use BidNinja Shield to spam Freelancer.com clients
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our AI scoring logic
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the service without written permission
• Create multiple free accounts to bypass rate limits
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent the proposal cap or other usage limits

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, including refunding the unused portion of a paid plan.

How We Interact with Freelancer.com

BidNinja Shield runs as a Chrome extension inside your own browser, using your own session. We do not operate a server-side bot. The extension reads jobs you visit, asks you to confirm bids before submitting, and never posts content without you clicking. Freelancer.com's terms still govern your behavior on their platform; we are a tool, not a license.

AI-Generated Content

AI-generated proposals are starting drafts. You are responsible for reviewing each proposal before submitting a bid. We make no claims about win rates, client responses, or earnings.

Disclaimer of Warranties

BidNinja Shield is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee uptime, AI accuracy, scam detection completeness, or any specific business outcome. Use at your own discretion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

Termination

You can stop using BidNinja Shield anytime by uninstalling the extension and emailing us to delete your account. We can suspend or close your account if you violate these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via email or a dashboard banner. Continued use after notice means you accept the changes.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uruguay. Disputes will be resolved in Uruguayan courts unless local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
