Will my Freelancer account get banned?
BidNinja runs as a Chrome extension inside your actual browser, using your real IP and session. Freelancer sees your normal browser activity — indistinguishable from manual use. Unlike Playwright-based tools that operate from a server IP, BidNinja has zero ban risk.
Do I need to keep my browser open?
For real-time scoring while you browse, yes. For the optional auto-bid mode, the extension submits the moment you open the Freelancer tab. A background cloud scanner coming soon will work 24/7 without your browser open.
How is this different from ChatGPT-based bidders?
BidNinja uses Claude (by Anthropic), which is significantly better at technical writing and proposal crafting. More importantly, we score each job against your actual capabilities before writing — so the proposal is always relevant and honest, not generic.
Does it use my Freelancer connects?
Yes — BidNinja submits bids using your account. The difference is you only spend connects on jobs you're likely to win (Tier 1 and 2), not everything on the page.
Can I review proposals before they're submitted?
Always. By default, BidNinja shows you the proposal in a sidebar and you click "Auto-Fill Form" to populate the bid fields. You still click Submit yourself. Auto-bid mode is an opt-in setting.
What happens after the free trial?
You'll be prompted to choose a plan. If you don't upgrade, the extension stops scoring new jobs but keeps showing previously scored badges. No hidden charges, cancel anytime.
